The Kirkuk Ring Road project consisted of the design of 20 kilometers of six lane divided median freeway around the eastern side of Kirkuk, connecting the Sulaymania and Baghdad Roads. It contained five interchanges and four bridges and is one of the largest municipal transportation projects designed in Iraq in over 20 years.
